Portfolio - MTAF (More Than A Friend)
More Than a Friend describes a relationship between visual artists Krista Bursey and Jason Wasserman. We create paintings and illustrations in collaboration at every step of the artistic process, conceiving all the ideas together, and then executing different areas of the surface, often painting or drawing over each others work. The images we construct attempt to establish icons for a post-pop sensibility, focusing on the language of aesthetics itself. We collaborate extensively with other artists and create alternative venues to exhibit our work.
