My drawings are about movement.

When I draw the human form, my main concern is to consider the dynamic potential of the body. Even in a static pose where emphasis may be on mood or a sense of space, I still try to convey the impression that the figure is about to move, or at least is capable of movement. This may be done in a variety of ways, for instance, by weight of line, tone, or by broken or continuous mark.
